What I believe

Recently I was asked what religion I’m with and so I answered a brief explanation but then I got to thinking about all that I believe and don’t believe.

So here is it my friends. This will be edited as I may add more or change a few things up a bit as I continue to grow and God molds me into who He wants me to be.

But for sure, I will always believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and He will always be my rock and foundation.

What I believe

I believe in a relationship with God.

I’m a believer in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I believe God sent His son Jesus to earth as a baby born of a virgin to live a perfect life and die on the cross to take our sins upon Him so that we can live with Him for eternity in heaven.

I believe Jesus arose again on the 3rd day and is alive and active!

I believe we are saved by grace and not by works and that we should live according to God’s word in the Bible.

I believe we have power in the Holy Spirit who lives in us because of what Jesus did for us on the cross.

I believe in never ending growth in who we are because God is always working in us.

I don’t believe in “religion” that is full of human rules and regulations. If it doesn’t align with God and His word it’s not for me.

I don’t believe God sent Jesus to die on the cross for only certain people but for ALL people.

I don’t align with the universe I align with the CREATOR of the universe.

I believe words have power and what you say you will believe. But I do not believe in manifestation, I believe in prayer to the only one who can provide my needs and change my life.

I believe God wants us to love our neighbors as ourself and that our neighbor isn’t just our physical neighbor but everyone and loving them as ourself means we need to have love and respect for ourselves as well.

I believe each of us is created for a purpose whether on earth or in heaven so therefore I believe even babies who don’t make it to our arms, or a long life, have a purpose and are part of God’s plan.

I believe in following God and His calling upon our lives and not following the popular because that’s what’s cool or fun.

I believe in “energy” and it has to do with frequency and emotions.

I don’t believe in forcing my faith upon my kids but I do believe in sharing it with them because what’s important to me is worth sharing.

I believe I plant the seeds in their lives and God will grow them.

I believe in homeschooling and having the ultimate influence over our children and not letting the government and random strangers have influence more than we do.

I believe that homeschooling is a sacrifice but worth every sacrifice we have made.

I believe kids are smarter and wiser than some adults give them credit for.

I believe people are more capable than they give themselves credit for, or should I say give God credit for? Yes I believe so!

I don’t believe that I am better than others that think differently. I believe what is good about me is because of God and the works He has done within me and my life. I give God all the glory for anything I accomplish in life.

I believe I am a sinner in need of God’s forgiveness every single day and that He gives it to me. I don’t believe in dwelling on all the sin I have done because God has already washed it away and I walk in His grace. I do, however, believe in using my past to help and guide others through their struggles.

Whether or not you agree with my beliefs please know I will love and respect you. I will always look at life through the lens of my faith in God but I will never force it upon you.
